The original Studio model of the HAWK was designed and constructed for the show SPACE 1999 by Master Model maker MARTIN BOWER.
The original brief was to design a space craft that was along the same design style as the Eagle Transporter. This was successfully achieved. The model delivered to the studios by Martin also featured a similar paint scheme to that of the original Transporter.
It was however decided later by the studio prior to filming that the paint scheme was “too similar” to that of the Eagle Transporter and the model was repainted by the studio in the orange livery that we are now familiar with.
MARTIN BOWER has suggested the release of a VERY LIMITED number of the HAWK PROP REPLICA in the paint scheme as ORIGINALLY designed by him.
As such, we have put to one side 30 ONLY of the release of 200 HAWK REPLICAS.
Each of these models will be HAND PAINTED by MARTIN BOWER HIMSELF in the distinctive white style of the Eagle Transporter and of his ORIGINAL studio model as it was delivered to Pinewood Studios in 1975.
Martin will also HAND SIGN the underside of each model fully authenticating the piece.

We are VERY disappointed that we have to cancel the proposed release of our MARTIN BOWER UFO INTERCEPTOR due simply to the fact that so few of those collectors who had expressed an interest over the last 18 months would not confirm their pre order with a deposit.
The subsequent result being that we are unable to commit to the tooling to produce all of the Die Cast parts at our China factory that would have made this a stunning piece.
PLEASE NOTE: No deposits placed have been processed or debited and card information submitted via our on line shop has been deleted.
All is NOT lost for the handful of collectors who confirmed their pre order – we are looking at ways in which we can produce a very limited edition of 30 x UFO INTERCEPTOR REPLICAS all hand build exclusively here in the UK.
Once we have determined a plan of action we will contact those collectors with revised details.
